The outline of Kocuria rhizophila DC2201 proteome

日本語で表示

We have analyzed the proteome of Kocuria rhizophila DC2201 (NBRC 103217), which is the bacteria tolerant to organic solvents, in the following conditions under the DC2201 medium.

1. Shotgun proteomics (SDS-PAGE in combination with LC-MS/MS)

  1. (1) culture without ethyl acetate supplementation
  2. (2) ethyl acetate added in stationary phase
  3. (3) culture with ethyl acetate supplementation

2. Peptide Mass Fingerprinting (two-dimensional PAGE followed by MALDI-TOFMS)

  1. (1) culture without ethyl acetate supplementation
  2. (2) ethyl acetate added in stationary phase
  3. (3) culture with ethyl acetate supplementation

3. N-terminal amino acid sequencing by the protein sequencer

The result of proteome analysis

The number of identified proteins amounted to 1153 and 1122 under the culture with and without ethyl acetate supplementation, and 988 under the culture added ethyl acetate in stationary phase respectively. 1352 proteins were identified in total.

The results of the proteome analysis are available to be downloaded from the DBRP (Data and Biological Resource Platform).
